Olumide Oyetan is the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. He has served in various capacities within the Stanbic IBTC and Standard Bank Group, both locally and internationally. 

Olumide joined Stanbic IBTC in 2000 and in 2007, he acted as Head Investment Management at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited, where he oversaw various investment strategies and portfolios. He also served in Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, first as an Executive Director in charge of Investment Management and later as the Chief Executive between 2009 and 2015. Within this period, he was actively involved in building the asset management business to what it is today.

He was head of Advisory Products for the Standard Bank Wealth and Investment business in South Africa, after which he was appointed as Head, Special Projects for Standard Bank Wealth, Africa Regions - a position which he occupied till he returned to Nigeria in February 2019 to become the Executive Director, Investments in Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited.

Olumide holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Politics and Government from the University of Canterbury, United Kingdom, as well as a Master of Science in Financial and Commercial Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

He is the current President of Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria (PenOp), an independent, self-regulatory, non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit body, established to promote best practices in the pension industry.
