Jumoke Bakare is the Head of Internal Audit and is responsible for providing assurance to the Board of Directors on the effectiveness of the risk management, governance and internal control processes within Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. With over 17 years’ experience, Jumoke is an expert in the operations, accounting and administration of collective Investment Schemes.

Prior to her appointment, she was the Head of Client Services in SIPML where she provided leadership to the Client Service team to achieve excellent service delivery to clients at all branches across the country. In her previous roles as Head, Fund Operations in Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited and Head, Fund Administration in Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited, she was responsible for accounting and administration of funds under management. During this period, she was part of the teams that saw the organization through  successful transition of operations from one core application to the other and pioneered the automation of key processes to improve efficiency within the business.

Jumoke holds an MBA from Lagos Business School (LBS) Pan-Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and a Registered Accountant (RA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
