Chukwunenye Okonkwo is an experienced professional with over 20 years’ experience spanning Business Development, Client Relationship Management, Risk Management and Credit Risk Management across diverse sectors notably, commodities and agriculture, consumer, energy, and real estate financing for major local and corporate clients.

He joined Stanbic IBTC Bank in 2008 as Head Sales and Credit Support and has held several other Risk Manager roles where he managed credit portfolio across all sectors in the Bank. 

Prior to joining Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers in April 2023 as the Head of Risk Management, Chukwunenye was Head of Risk Management, Stanbic IBTC Asset Management where he contributed to strengthening the risk management culture of the company. 

Chukwunenye holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance and a Master of Business Administration from University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is also member of the Risk Management Institute of Nigeria.
